Privacy Policy

Joi Tunes is a music player for Apple Music, made by Kerem Cesme and provided by Socialayf A.S. (“we”). There’s no Joi account, and Joi has no servers of its own. Your library and settings stay on your iPhone, and you decide what to share.
Your music
Joi reads your Apple Music library so it can show and play your music. Your library, playlists, and queue are stored on your device. Songs, artwork, lyrics, and recommendations come directly from Apple, under Apple’s privacy policy. Joi never sends your library or listening history anywhere else.
Location
During setup, Joi asks whether you’d like to share your location. It’s optional. If you allow it, Joi shares an approximate area, about the size of a city, with Apple Music to tailor your recommendations. Your exact location never leaves your iPhone. You can change this at any time in Joi’s Settings.
Usage statistics and crash reports
During setup, Joi also asks whether you’d like to share anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, and you can choose each one separately. If you agree, Joi uses Google Firebase to collect things like app opens, device model, iOS version, app performance, and crash details. This helps us fix bugs and make Joi better. It isn’t linked to your name, your Apple ID, or your music. If you say no, none of it is sent. You can change your choice at any time in Joi’s Settings.
Joi also loads its own app settings from Firebase. That request doesn’t include your music or your Apple ID.
Purchases
If you buy Joi Pro, Apple handles the payment. Joi uses RevenueCat with an anonymous ID to check whether you have Joi Pro. RevenueCat never receives your name or payment details.
No ads, no tracking
Joi has no ads and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites. We don’t sell your data.
Deleting your data
There’s no account to delete. Deleting Joi from your iPhone removes all of your Joi data from it. For questions about data shared through Firebase or RevenueCat, email us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
